West Virginia for Barack Obama
West Virginia for Obama is a grassroots organization built to help promote the Obama '08 campaign. They are not a political action committee (PAC), and do not participate in direct fundraising. Their purpose is to help organize individuals who want to directly participate in promoting the campaign by volunteering their time and talents. The West Virginia for Obama Center on Barack Obama's Official Campaign web site is a bit more slick, though actually a bit less directly functional, and certainly not as grassroots.
